My name is Pastel, and I'm a young self-taught artist who clings to fiction like a life support XDI've been drawing for around 10 years now, and am going to University for Animation. I've drawn fanart, written fanfics, and taken part in fandom events for many of my interests. Stargazers is my personal passion project, in which I stretch my creative muscles in story development, visual design and comic making. The story centres around a group of teens in a fantasy world who must somehow save the Human and Angel worlds from the invading Demons.It's a simple enough premise, but with that it will hopefully allow me to develop the world and characters in more detail as I continue working.As of now, all that exists of this story is some character concept artwork and a bundle of scattered thoughts and plot points, but I hope to be able to share this story with everyone when the time comes!Read below to find out more about the world and characters!
Lore & Backstory
The story takes place in a high fantasy world; where Humans, Angels and Demons live segregated from one another.Humans live on Earth, and once they die, they either become an Angel or a Demon and live an eternal life with only vague recollections of their previous lives. While Angels and Demons do come into existence through a human's death, they can also be born into the species just like Humans do; though this is a rare occurrence.There was a time, long ago, where these three races freely and happily interacted with one another; but arguments and misconceptions began to consume the masses, and this led to the Demons being permanently sealed away, and the Humans and Angels amiably cutting ties.Since this point in time, Humans have slowly lost the knowledge and ability to utilise magic, socially enforced as a way to completely cut ties with the more magically-imbued races. However, there were some families who resisted this change, and continued to pass the traditions of magic down to their offspring in secret.After many generations passed, Humans no longer believed in the existence of Angels, Demons or Magic; considering them nothing more than simple folk tales.This context forms the basis for the world the main characters inhabit; where after centuries of being forcibly locked away, the Demons escape and fully intend to cause havoc for both the Angels and the Humans in revenge. However, it is through the Demons initiating this plan that the main characters have a chance to meet each other; and from there, they resolutely decide to do all they can to put a stop to the Demons' plans for war.
Characters
Kerilyn Mason
A sweet and slightly mischievous girl, Kerilyn has been helping her father with their travelling magic business since she was young, and seen many varied landscapes from around the kingdoms. She has an unparalleled adeptness for magic, and after her mother's disappearance when she was just a baby, she took up the family business. She's not the most competent at socialising, preferring to spend time by herself or with her father. She's devoted to her independent magic studies.As the teens meet up, Kerilyn becomes a leader of sorts for them to rely on. She forms an especially close bond with Eleena, and they quickly open up to one another and stay positive for the whole group together. However, she slowly develops a rivalry of sorts with Isa, as she competes with Kerilyn to be seen as the best magic user and the leader of the group.
Eleena Affini
An innocent and naturally curious girl, Eleena was born into the World of Angels and adopted by Avi and Maia Affini. She has lived in the sky all of her life, joyfully exploring and learning new skills as she grew up. With no warning however, her life is turned upside down when Demons begin to invade and kidnap the Angels. She is able to escape before being caught, and finds Kerilyn and her father, who take her in and protect her and the other kids.Eleena holds onto hope, because she doesn't know how to do anything else, so her seemingly boundless optimism keeps the groups' spirits up. She feels comfortable around Kerilyn quickly, and opens up to her about her fears. Throughout the journey, Eleena gets to explore many different places around the kingdoms, which amaze her in unique ways every time.
Terah Bauer
A quiet and generally reclusive child, Terah was raised by a single mother after their parents separated at an early age. They love their mother dearly, helping them around the house whenever they can, and becoming quite independent before meeting the group. They occasionally get to meet up with their father, and they greatly admire him. They will always watch when their father is working his blacksmith job, and wonders if they'd like to do that job when they are older.Terah is devastated when their mother is also kidnapped by the Demons, and since they are not a very social person, the beginning of the journey finds them silent and unable to move past the sadness. Through slowly opening up to Eleena and Kerilyn, they begin to engage more with the group and their plans. They enjoy Eleena and Kerilyn's company, but are more ambivalent towards Isa.
Isa Chaudary
A studious and kind of pretentious girl, Isa has been raised by two magically gifted parents to be a skilled sorcerer since an early age. When the Demons invade her land, her parents sneak her through a hidden passage way and tell her to find a person with 'an angelic soul'. Confused yet unable to question it, she sets out on an arduous journey to find this person, and ends up with the group when Demons attack a nearby village.Isa has a lot of useful knowledge on magic, which helps the group on multiple occasions. Besides these moments however, she feels left out for the most part and begins to resent Kerilyn for becoming the leader figure of the group. This results in a growing rivalry between the two girls, which may become more problematic than first envisioned. Terah talks with Isa in a distinctly civil manner, and Eleena seems to be the only one who genuinely tries to interact with her.

- Artwork that is commissioned from me is for personal use only. You may post the art on your socials as long as you directly credit me with either an @mention, a link to this Carrd or a link to one of my other socials. I will also ask if I may post the art on my own socials, to which you can say yes or no.- Communication must be clear and civil. I have the right to refuse service if potential commissioner is rude, demanding or derogative.- By extension, I do not have to accept every request I get, and I can deny one purely because I don't want to do it. This is not intended as a slight towards the individual commissioner, but rather a way to ensure that I have the motivation to complete the piece as requested. If this policy offends anyone, then I am more than open to discussion through DMs.- I can draw official characters, fan characters or original characters. When requesting an original character, visual references must be provided. I would be willing to create concept art for an undesigned character if discussed beforehand through DMs.- This is in no way a requirement at all for a commission being accepted, but I may be more inclined to work on a piece that is related to one of my interests. I am still completely open to working with other pieces of media and even original concepts and stories from other creatives here online, so don't feel dissuaded from talking with me about it in DMs if you're confused or unsure!- Payments will be done through Paypal Invoice only. Once the commission has been accepted, I will send an invoice within the next 2-3 days. I will only start working on the commission when the payment has been sent and received.

Digital Style
Digital Style is separated into three different options, each of varying levels of detail and subsequent pricing. A single full body character with a transparent background will cost the baseline price that is presented here.Styles 1 and 2 allow for extra characters and backgrounds to be included, while Style 3 does not allow for those options.
Style 1 - £20 / Style 2 - £30 / Style 3 - £45
To include another character, it will cost an extra 50% of the baseline price. To include a background, it will cost an extra 25% or 50% of the baseline price, depending on the complexity of the background.

Chibi Style
Chibi Style offers a relatively cheaper alternative, where you can have multiple characters drawn together in a simplistic art style. Depending on the number of characters requested, a different level of detail will be used, as shown below.The base prices shown are for a single character, and in the cases of Styles 2 and 3, will be multiplied for each subsequent character that is requested.Backgrounds are not included in this style.

Replicate Style
Replicate Style is when I will replicate an already existing and iconic art style.No baseline price is given, as the pricing of pieces in this style is determined by the complexity of the art style that is requested. When you request this style, we will discuss pricing together in DMs before I accept the commission.This style can include extra characters and backgrounds, but this will also depend on the complexity of the requested art style.
